GRETNA
Army Pvt. James R. Davis III, a 2009 graduate of Belle Chasse High School, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Donna Davis of Gretna.
MARRERO
Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Genaro Gonzalez, a 2008 graduate of John Ehret High School, Marrero, graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. He is the son of Abdon Gonzalez of Marrero.
WAGGAMAN
Amber N. Roussell, a 2003 graduate of John Ehret High School, Marrero, has graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Leader's Training Course at Fort Knox, Ky. Roussell is a student at Southern University in Baton Rouge. She is the daughter of Shelly Wing, stepdaughter of James Wing of Waggaman, and daughter of Ernest Roussell, of Marrero.
