MARRERO LIONS CLUB
Marrero Lions Club will hold a general meeting Monday, with dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting afterward. All members are asked to bring canned goods for the food bank.
The club's next Texas Hold 'Em charity poker tournament will be Nov. 14. Doors open at 4 p.m. The game starts at 6 p.m. and ends at midnight. Entry fee is $50. Players must be at least 21. Food and drinks will be available.

WEST JEFFERSON CIVIC COALITION
The West Jefferson Civic Coalition will host a meeting with Patrick Hale DeJean, justice of the peace, Second Parish Court, on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at West Jefferson Medical Center's auditorium.
