    The St. Charles Parish Library will offer free beginner-level computer classes in November at the East Regional Library, 100 River Oaks Drive, Destrehan; St. Rose Library, 90 E. Club Drive; and West Regional Library, 105 Lakewood Drive, Luling.

    All classes are single two-hour gatherings, not continuing courses. It is necessary to register for each class people want to attend, but participants can register for all available classes at the same time.

    To register, call East Regional at 985.764.2366; St. Rose at 504.465.0646 ; or West Regional at 985.785.8471; or visit the Web site www.stcharles.lib.la.us.

    Basic computer skills will be the topic Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to noon at West Regional; Nov. 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. at East Regional; Nov. 9 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Rose.

    Basic Microsoft Word is the topic Nov. 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. at West Regional; Nov. 13 from 2 to 4 p.m. at East Regional; and Nov. 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Rose.

    Internet basics will be discussed Nov. 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. at West Regional; Nov. 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. at East Regional; and Nov. 23 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Rose.
