Charity road race in November
Jones Physical Therapy is proud to announce the "Keeping up with Jones" benefit fun run and walk which will raise money for the Methodist Home for Children in Mandeville as well as the local Boy Scouts of the Istrouma Council.
The event will take place Nov. 21 at the Madisonville Ball Park. The races will start at 8 a.m. with an awards ceremony following. There will be food and beverages provided by local vendors, along with door prizes and awards. Entry forms can be picked up at Jones Physical Therapy, 389 Louisiana 21, Suite 403, Madisonville; Varsity Sports, 2021 Claiborne St., Mandeville; and Franco's Athletic Club, 100 Bon Temps Roule, Mandeville.

OLL Knights of Columbus tourney
Our Lady of the Lake Knights of Columbus Council 9240 will hold a golf tournament on Monday at Tchefuncta Country Club. Start time is noon and the format is a four-person scramble. Proceeds of the tournament go to pay for the Knights' annual Christmas shopping spree for about 120 needy children from St. Tammany Parish.

CGA tourney at Money Hill
The Christian Golfers Association will hold its 11th annual charity tournament on Nov. 2 at Money Hill Golf and Country Club in Abita Springs.
The event is a four-person scramble format and will begin at 9 a.m. Proceeds from this year's event will go to the Children's Advocacy Center in Covington which serves children in Washington and St. Tammany Parish. The entry fee is $150 per player or $500 per foursome and includes green and cart fees, breakfast, lunch and on course beverages....
