    --- Elementary and middle schools ---

    FAITH LUTHERAN SCHOOL

    The school's open house will be held Oct. 27 for prospective parents. Parents may tour the school between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. and 4 to 6:30 p.m. Teachers will be available to speak with parents during the evening hours. The school is located at 300 Colonial Club Drive in Harahan.

    Prospective parents may also visit on each Wednesday on "Welcome Wednesdays" from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP SCHOOL

    Members of the the Home and School Association have been very busy with recent activities. They recently sponsored an honor breakfast for students and hosted an adult dance. Both events were held at the school in Kenner.

    ST. ANN SCHOOL

    Grandperson's Day for grades early childhood, prekindergarten and kindergarten will be on Oct. 23. Early childhood students will meet at 9:15 a.m. Prekindergarten students will meet at 9:35 a.m. and kindergarten students will meet at 10 a.m.

    The Girl Scouts will have a lock-in in the gym Oct. 23 at 8 p.m.

    ST. CHRISTOPHER SCHOOL

    September Students of the Month were recently named. They are:Terry Langlois, Grace Williams, Riley Guillot, Gabrielle Womble, Ashton Shepherd, Cole Trosclair, Gage Hebert, Katelyn Bordelon, Jennifer Brue, Madelyn Keene, Bryceton White, Paige Ferina, Olivia Charouleau, Destiny Ehmer, Cassidy Delcastillo, Kelli Banta, Lindsey Tizzard, Kelli Mejia, Christopher Broom, Francesco Pineda, Ali Workman, Dalton Millet, Matthew Junot, Sara Bordelon and Joshua Gonzales.

    The Student Council is sponsoring black and orange day on Oct. 30. Students may substitute any uniform article, blouse, shirt, skirt, pants, or belt with a similar clothing article that is black or orange or Halloween related.
