Caregivers workshop set
The Louisiana Occupational Therapy Association will sponsor a free workshop for caregivers on Tuesday at 8 a.m. at East Jefferson General Hospital, 4200 Houma Blvd., Metairie.
The workshop will provide education for aging adults and their caregivers about various resources and products that will ease their daily routine while increasing safety, independence, and quality of life.
Topics include managing dementia, low vision, home modifications to increase independence and how to prevent falls.
