People Program plans 'Boo-Tique'
One of our neighbors, Sandra Rowan, is a member of the People Program, a nonprofit organization for people 50 and older who spend their leisure time creatively in at least one of more than 100 courses, including exercise, computer, dance, art, needlework, crafts, games, languages and music.
Rowan invites everyone to the organization's holiday shopping event called "People Program Boo-Tique" on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at 2240 Lakeshore Drive, New Orleans.
There you will find handmade items, jewelry, holiday ornaments and more for sale. In addition, there will be face painting, trick or treat and a spacewalk.
Admission is free.
For more information call Rowan at 504.831.1826.
