Mandeville
Kitty Cleveland concert
Award-winning singer/songwriter Kitty Cleveland will be singing selections from her seven CDs, including songs from her Christmas CD "O Holy Night" at a special Advent concert at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church on Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. She will also share stories of her recent trip to Rwanda with Immaculee Ilibagiza, survivor of the Rwandan holocaust and author of the book "Left to Tell." A reception will follow the concert, where Kitty will be available to sign all of her CDs for gift-giving.
The concert is free and open to the public. Doors open at 7 pm. A voluntary offering will be collected during the concert to support Cleveland's ministry.

St. Anselm Family Day
Family Day will be celebrated by St. Anselm Catholic Church by a Mass and picnic at Fairview Riverside State Park in Madisonville today. Mass will be celebrated with the St. Anselm Choir under the pavilion at 11 a.m. Following Mass there will be music, magic and comedy by Jim Chester and live musical performances by the church's Sanctifire youth group.
Refreshments will be served in the form of snowballs, juices and water. Parishioners are asked to bring their favorite picnic lunch.
There will be the usual 11 a.m. Mass at the church. Entrance to the park is $1 per person, but free for those under 3 and over 62 years of age.
