ROAD CLOSINGS
The Camp Street exit from lakebound Pontchartrain Expressway will be closed today, 6 a.m.-1:30 p.m. to accommodate festivities associated with the openning of new venues at the WWII Museum.
The right, northbound lane of U.S. 61 (Airline Highway) from Interstate 310 to Louisiana 48 will be closed Monday-Nov. 13, 6 a.m.-3 p.m., and from 6 p.m. on Nov. 13 through 6 a.m. Nov. 16.
The Judge Seeber Bridge will be closed today and Monday-Nov. 13, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., for bridge rehabilitation.
The left westbound lane of Interstate 10 from Read Boulevard to the high rise bridge will be closed today, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., for median landscaping.
One eastbound lane of Lapalco Boulevard from the Harvey Bridge to Brooklyn Avenue, and one westbound lane from Brooklyn Avenue to Murphy Canal, will be closed until Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. for work on the Murphy Bridge approaches.
Alternating lane closings will be enforced on Manhattan Boulevard, between Lake Tahoe Drive and Breckenridge Drive in Harvey, through Nov. 16, to replace concrete panels.
Flagmen will regulate traffic on Louisiana 541 at the base of the Huey P. Long Bridge, today, 7 a.m.-4 p.m., to accommodate construction.
One lane of Bridge City Avenue between Seventh and Eighth streets will be closed today, 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m., for street widening.
The left lanes in both directions on the Huey P. Long Bridge will be closed today, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and Saturday, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
The right southbound lane of Interstate 55, between mileposts 4 and 6 just north of LaPlace, will be closed through Nov. 15 to install sign trusses.
Alternating lane closings will be enforced on Jefferson Highway (Louisiana 48), from the Huey P. Long Bridge to Williams Boulevard, today and Monday-Nov. 13, 6 a.m.-6 p.m., for asphalt patching, milling and overlay.
One lane of West Esplanade Avenue, between Academy Drive and Wilson Street in Metairie, will be closed until Nov. 25. The corner of Wilson Drive and West Esplanade will be completely closed.
The northbound Causeway Boulevard exit to Veterans Memorial Boulevard is closed to accommodate construction of the Causeway Boulevard-Interstate 10 interchange. Northbound Causeway traffic must cross over Veterans and U-turn onto southbound Causeway to exit at Veterans. Traffic exiting westbound I-10 onto northbound Causeway must remain on ground access roads across Veterans, entering Causeway on the north side of the I-10 overpass.
The right northbound lane of Causeway Boulevard, between 22nd and 26th streets, will be closed weekdays, daybreak-3 p.m., through the spring for construction of a new I-10 ramp.
The 26th Street Bridge over the Butler Canal in Kenner will be closed until April for replacement.
Sporadic lane closings will be necessary on Harvey Boulevard, between Wall Boulevard and Barnes Court, through May because of the extension of Harvey Boulevard to Engineers Road.
