Smiles fill 'Miracle Field
I would like to congratulate and thank the wonderful volunteers who came together to make "The Miracle League" a reality.
For two glorious months we gathered at the Whitney Miracle Field, sponsored by Whitney Bank and Children's Hospital.
We watched special needs children come with walkers, crutches and wheelchairs; we saw autistic and Down syndrome children smile with all of their hearts as they played baseball.
The league's motto, "Every Child Deserves to Play Baseball," was truly shown.
Our deepest and heartfelt thanks to the coaches, orginizers, concession workers and most of all the baseball buddies who were at these children's sides every minute of the game with great love and care. God bless them all.
