Not so smart
Re: "Tulane has winning test scores," Your Opinions, Nov. 3.
If Tulane's student athletes are so smart, why do they keep banging their superior brains out playing football?
Funny, Tulane seems to find young men of near-genius who play baseball and other sports quite well.
I'll bet they could beat the tails off the Tigers at chess! But there wouldn't be 70,000 fans paying to watch it.
I learned a couple of things from my LSU education:
1. Life is not fair.
2. Whining about it is so unattractive.
