Inept and, thankfully, gone

There are virtually no signs that Ed Blakely accomplished much of anything. It appears all he did was walk away from an unfinished job with a fistful of cash.

Now he's blaming the city of New Orleans for his apparent failure to produce results. In the private sector, he would have probably been terminated from his job rather than have the luxury of quitting it.

The two best words to describe him: ineffective and (thank goodness) gone.
