Good ol' boys still in charge
It sounds like the Mandeville City Council voted to maintain the "good ole boy" network by selecting another long-time politician, Bubby Lyons, as the town's interim mayor.
Mr. Lyons has already stated he will oppose reforms in selecting engineering contractors as suggested by Councilwoman Trilby Lenfant, the single person who seems to have represented honesty and integrity in the city's government and on the central issue which brought down the previous administration.
The fact that Lyons had the support of Eddie Price ally Jerry Coogan makes it all the more fishy.
