Letter to the Editor: Blaming victims a cheap shot
"Its residents lazy"? While I defer to Ed Blakely's expertise and tenure in New Orleans, I must confront his conclusion.

Letter to the Editor: No due process for tickets
Re: "Jefferson may shift camera money," Page 1, Nov. 3.

Letter to the Editor: On the fence
One has to wonder about the fence all around that part of City Park where that Voodoo whatever was staged.

Letter to the Editor: Saints lead way to recovery
The Saints have given hope to the city of New Orleans, regardless of what people like Ed Blakely may say. The Saints have not only raised millions for our city but have brought the entire city together, and we can all say we are proud to live in New Orleans.

Letter to the Editor: Seizing land for hospitals is not justified, ethical
Yes, the government has the right of eminent domain. It can take people's property away from them against their will, but the reasons for the taking must be justifiable and the owner must be paid just compensation.

Letter to the Editor: Smiles fill 'Miracle Field
I would like to congratulate and thank the wonderful volunteers who came together to make "The Miracle League" a reality.

Letter to the Editor: Bring messy conflict in Afghanistan to an end
Re: "U.S. has been down this road before," Other Opinions, Oct. 31.

Letter to the Editor: Forgetting the past
Re: "Voyage of the Nydia," Metro, Nov 1.

Letter to the Editor: Juveniles being neglected
Re: "Accord on juvenile jail," Our Opinions, Nov. 1.

Letter to the Editor: Lost in a cab in New Orleans
Re: "Taxi makes a bad impression," Your Opinions, Nov. 3.

Letter to the Editor: Voters repudiate government

Letter to the Editor: A litigious society ruins dinner
Re: "Oyster illness a deadly rarity," Page 1, Nov. 1.

Letter to the Editor: Group helps us rebuild on common ground
Re: "Homes at last," Other Opinions, Nov. 3

    Letter to the Editor: Infuriating
Rarely have I been as infuriated by a story as by Tuesday's on the comments by Ed Blakely. Can we get a refund on the thousands of dollars we paid this loser?

Letter to the Editor: Pep rally offenders should ask forgiveness
Re: "Skit at pep rally sparks controversy between schools," Metro, Oct. 30.

Letter to the Editor: Youth aren't hung up on race

Letter to the Editor: Blakely an incompetent who achieved nothing
Re: "Ex-recovery czar airs criticisms about N.O.: Blakely says city isn't likely to have a future," Page 1, Nov. 3.

Letter to the Editor: Blakely's been wrong before
Now who is the buffoon? Ed Blakely predicts race wars under next mayor. Is this the same guy who predicted "cranes in the sky" after Katrina?

Letter to the Editor: Bring back art at Colton School
Re: "Empty school means blight," Your Opinions, Nov. 3.

Letter to the Editor: Inept and, thankfully, gone
There are virtually no signs that Ed Blakely accomplished much of anything. It appears all he did was walk away from an unfinished job with a fistful of cash.

Letter to the Editor: Not so smart
Re: "Tulane has winning test scores," Your Opinions, Nov. 3.

Letter to the Editor: Restore the VA hospital
The Federal Building next to the U. S. Post Office on Loyola was rehabilitated after its once-flooded basement was restored. I believe if RMJM Hillier, an internationally respected architectural firm, inspected the current VA Hospital on Perdido Street, it would stipulate that it, too, is structurally sound and viable for reuse as a hospital once the basement and power restoration was completed.

Letter to the Editor: Smell the snake oil?
It is common among the incompetent and snake oil salesmen to blame others when found out.
