Event date wrong: Tina Soong's To the Rim column in some Thursday editions incorrectly stated that the India Association of New Orleans' annual Diwali Festival banquet will be held Saturday. The banquet is Sunday from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner. The guest will be India's former president, Abdul Kalam.
