    San Antonio Spurs (57-25)

    The additions of Richard Jefferson, Antonio McDyess and Theo Ratliff should fit in perfectly with Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobli, making Spurs one of the major contenders in the West.

    Dallas Mavericks (51-31)

    The Mavs didn't stand pat in the offseason and made a few moves to solidify their front court, bringing in Drew Gooden, Shawn Marion and Tim Thomas.

    New Orleans Hornets (50-32)

    The Hornets added six new faces. But the big question is how soon will the new talent mesh with the returning players, namely All-Stars Chris Paul and David West?

    Houston Rockets (35-47)

    After losing Ron Artest to free agency, Yao Ming to injury and facing the prospects of being without the injured Tracy McGrady for the first half of the season, the prospects don't look good for the Rockets.
